We’re excited to welcome Elias Heimann to Hampel Software Engineering as the newest member of #teamhampelsoft. Elias joins us while completing his final year of high school before beginning his Computer Science studies. While it’s a bit of a stretch, we’re adding yet another flag to our flag pole: 🇨🇿 🇵🇰 🇵🇱 🇬🇧 🇷🇴 🇪🇸 🇩🇪 🇦🇹

Technology has fascinated Elias from an early age. He started programming at just six years old and has continued to challenge himself ever since. Alongside school, he has built personal software projects, participated in game jams, experimented with Linux and self-hosted infrastructure in his homelab, and even sold Java plugins online while still in his early teens.
Despite his young age, Elias already brings valuable hands-on experience. During an internship at the research department of an international IT company, he contributed to an AI proof-of-concept for the company’s network management platform. He also earned third place at the Würzburg Healthcare Hackathon, where his team designed and implemented a complete application—including backend and dashboard—in just 24 hours.
At HSE, Elias will support our engineering team across a range of internal projects while gaining practical experience with professional software development, engineering workflows, and our toolchain.
One more thing: as is becoming something of a tradition at HSE, Elias adds yet another flag to our increasingly international team. While his 🇨🇿 Czech roots are admittedly rather distant, we’ll happily take any excuse to expand the collection.
Welcome to the team, Elias! We’re looking forward to having you on board.
