Local
One way of giving back to the community is making the effort of bringing people together, helping them meet new LabVIEW friends and connect to each other. On an international level, there are many people and organisations taking care of just that.
In order to bring all the LabVIEW afficionados in our area together, we started the Würzburg LabVIEW User Group in Spring 2018. If you want to know more, please visit http://bit.ly/WUELUG or contact us.
Global
The LabVIEW ecosystem is home to a broad range of high-profile developers, and we’re extremely fortunate to call many of them our friends. The amount of knowledge and experience to be found in this world-wide community is tremendous, and the readiness for sharing is second to none.
We try to contribute, posting to the forums, presenting at the NIWeek in Austin, the german VIP and NIDays, being panel members at CLA Summits or members of the Customer Advisory Board for LabVIEW NXG…
GDEVCON CONFERENCE
GDevCon is a new independent conference open to all graphical software developers.
Organised by leaders in the LabVIEW™ community, GDevCon is focused on delivering world-class graphical programming material covering a wide spread of topics relevant to today’s discerning developer:
-
Two day conference
-
Presentations by LabVIEW peers from around the world
-
Run by community leaders
-
Independent from system vendors
-
Focused on real problems encountered everyday by LabVIEW developers
The first conference – GDevCon#1 – was held in 2018 in Cambridge (UK). Building on its success, GDevCon#2 was held at a larger venue in Birmingham (UK) in 2019. 2020 should have seen GDevCon#3 take place at the CERN in Geneva (CH), but had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
We’re very proud to be members of the GDev Alliance, the core team organising this very unique event. Find out more on gdevcon.com.
